“big baNG” concert at North Grenville District High School

“big baNG” will present a year’s worth of musical learning on Friday, April 25 at North Grenville District High School.
This group learns rhythms, songs and dances from the West Coast of Africa while paying respect to the original cultural context and purpose of each piece.
“big baNG” recently performed at Capital Region Music Festival held at Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School where they received a GOLD standing and the honour to perform at the “invitation-only”
MusicFest Canada Nationals hosted this year by York University in May. Their year-end concert, held on Friday, April 25 will run from 7-8 pm with the doors open at 6:30 pm. It should prove to be a very entertaining evening with a bake sale, silent auction and lots of music!
