Eastern Ontario will be the setting for a large-scale military training operation this weekend.
The Canadian Armed Forces says approximately 1,500 military members will take part in Exercise Trillium Venture, which will also involve police, firefighters and paramedics.
They will be responding to a simulated air disaster and the training is scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday.
Military traffic including helicopters and vehicles will be on area roads including Highway 138 and Highway 2, local waterways around the Long Sault Parkway, and in the Ottawa area.

Soldiers and equipment will be placed at Farran Campground and the Long Sault Parkway.
No weapons or ammunition will be a part of the exercise.
