OPP East Region said this afternoon an issue was resolved without incident, after reporting earlier this morning there was a large police presence on Bolton Road near Snowden Road, in the Merrickville area.
It was at the time an ongoing investigation by Grenville OPP, with help from the provincial police’s emergency response and canine units.Â
Police initially asked residents to avoid the area. There was no threat to public safety.
