If you’ve ever been to Neon Night it will come as no surprise to hear that they’ve won an award!
Last week at the annual Appreciation event for the Volunteers and Supporters, members of the Neon Night Fun Run Committee received an award which celebrates their impact on our community. It was awarded to them due to the significant financial contributions that Neon Night has been able to make to the Canadian Cancer Society and also as a means of recognizing them for the model they create for other event organizers.
Brenda Burich, the Chair for Neon Night Kemptville says “It was an honour for some of our Neon Night Committee members to be able to be in attendance to accept our award. Thanks to the support of our community and surrounding area, we are able to continue to organize this event and raise funds for Childhood Cancer Research.”
Neon Night 2018 is already being planned but Ms Burich says the date is ready so mark your calendars for Saturday September 22nd.
