Early bird registration for the Fort Town Night Run ends with 2017.
The 2nd Annual Fort Town Night Run fundraiser will be in May but people interested in participating can save money by signing up early. Event organizer Michael Larose says they event goes towards supporting Scouts in North and South Grenville.
There are three races of varying distances. The Children’s Fun Run is 1K long and costs $10, the 5K race is $30 and the 10K costs $35. Runners get a neon colour t-shirt, head lamp and medal for completing the race. After early bird registration closes the 5K and 10K fees will increase by $10.
Larose adds that they are currently accepting membership for Friends of the Night Town Run. Membership costs $10 and privileges include being the first to receive news or updates about the race and being invited to general meetings to have your opinion heard.
