Orders for the ‘Tie One On’ campaign are now being accepted.
January is Alzheimer Awareness month and the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville is encouraging the public to show their support by wearing a ‘Forget Me Not’ tie. The Alzheimer Society support local families dealing with members who have been diagnosed with Dementia.
Campaign organizers hope they can reduce the stigma around Dementia and Alzheimers, while raising awareness about the disease. Ties cost $25 and you can order yours by calling 866-576-8556 or emailing [email protected].
