Nominations are now open for the Leading Woman/Leading Girls Building Communities Awards.
Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark is encouraging schools, organisations and individuals to participate by nominating a deserving candidate. Clark says it’s been an honour to present the awards to several deserving women and girls in the past. The provincial program recognises girls and women who make a difference in their communities through volunteer work and leadership.
Nominations will be accepted until January 20th and must include two letters of support from community members. Packages should be delivered to Clark and he will pass them along to the Minister of the Status of Women.
