Police have arrested a pair of Smiths Falls residents following an armed robbery at a business on Lombard Street.
That’s according to the Smiths Falls police service, who say a 19-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman made off with some cash after robbing the store with a weapon on Thursday morning just before 10:00am.
Police say they located both suspects a short time after the robbery, and both are facing multiple charges. Both suspects were released with a promise to appear in court at a later date.
