Post-secondary students will not be returning to class.
Algonquin College President and CEO Cheryl Jensen announced this morning that the OPSEU faculty had voted no to the college’s settlement offer. Jensen says this was not the outcome she had hoped for and while many were speculating what would happen next, she would not.
She adds that they must consider all the options, listen to all perspectives and try to find a solution that will help students return to their studies. Algonquin College will continue updating students on developments here.
