An agreement has been reached, in principle, about the sale of the Kemptville College Campus.
The Government of Ontario and Municipality of North Grenville have announced the sale of a large portion of the main campus, and surrounding property, to the municipality. The University of Guelph used to offer agricultural programming on the campus.
When implemented the agreement will help the municipality turn most of the campus into a multi-tenant, education and community hub. By working together they want to make sure the campus continues to provide positive economic impact to the region.
North Grenville Mayor David Gordon expressed his sincere thanks to all those involved and noted that partnership with the public and private sectors were ongoing.
