The Township of Augusta has announced where the money from the Eastern Ontario Development Program will be going.
It was reported last week that the township would be receiving an undisclosed amount from the development program for an undisclosed project. Today they announced they had received just less than $15,000 to subsidize the cost of a few different projects.
One of the big upcoming projects is the community wide Business Retention + Expansion project, The Township says they also plan to development of a Business Attraction Strategy and Business Ambassador Program.
The projects are expected to be put in place this fall and the township says they expect their various initiatives to help address needs of existing businesses, while seeking to raise awareness about the business opportunities in Augusta.
