A North Grenville man is set to load a Canada 150 themed canoe onto a Mini Cooper and hit the road across Canada.
Clayton MacKinnon has painted a canoe with the Canada 150 theme for a fine art studio class at St. Lawrence College in Brockville. MacKinnon then trekked along parts of Ontario stopping in different locations and answering questions from people who took an interest in the work of art.
Now, the Burritts Rapids resident says, he wants to take a trip across Canada and showcase the piece atop his car in different parts of the country.
MacKinnon says that during his Ontario tour, he didn’t have any set locations where he would stop and speak to people.
