Sherry Middaugh’s rink found some success earlier today beating St. John’s Newfoundland’s Stacie Curtis 8-3. Ottawa’s Charlene Sobering defeated Cheryl McBain 8-6. The Peters rink from Ottawa was able to beat Cassandra Lewin 9-4. Ottawa’s Celeste Bellefeuille defeated Woodstock’s Julie Tippin 7-3.
At 5:15pm Ottawa’s Erin Morrissey will face off against Japan’s Ayumi Ogasawara and it’s the battle of Quebec between Marie-France Larouche and Eve Belisle.
