Dive into economic development and business networking Friday at the Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit.
The 16th annual event is 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at North Grenville Municipal Centre.
The Leeds Grenville Economic Development Office works alongside important local partners to host the region’s top economic development event of the year, with a 2024 theme of Amping Up.
It will feature a keynote address from Stephen Lecce, Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Electrification.
Another keynote speaker will be Pierre Cléroux, Vice President and Research and Chief Economist for BDC.
The day will feature presentations from Greg Canning-LeBlanc, Cam Heaps, Ben Greenhouse, Ann Weir and more.
The presentations provide attendees to the summit with insight on new economic developments, along with strategies about leveraging local assets.
The recipient of the Bill Thake Memorial Economic Development Leadership Award will also be honoured on Friday.
