Just about everyone has a camera these days.
So why not snap some local images and enter them in the second annual Communities in Bloom contest?
Residents are asked to showcase the beauty of the community through photography as North Grenville participates in Communities in Bloom Ontario.
Mayor Nancy Peckford said the contest celebrates local scenery but also fosters community spirit and appreciation of area surroundings.
Categories include gardens, floral displays, and landscape, local heritage, urban forestry and trails.
The contest is underway and runs until July 22. There are small cash prizes for top images.
Select photos will feature on municipal communication channels and in the Communities in Bloom profile book.
