The suspect charged with attempted murder in Oxford Station has hired a lawyer.
Thirty-one-year-old Jesse Bryanton made a quick appearance in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville by video link Wednesday morning.
A representative from Ottawa-based lawyer Leo Russomanno told the court that Bryanton has retained him as lawyer.
Bryanton was taken back into custody following the appearance and will return to court on June 12.
Bryanton was one of three people charged after a weekend shooting in Oxford Station in late May that left a number of people with non-life-threatening injuries.
