The weather is nice out, but you can’t swim in the Kemptville Pool just yet.
North Grenville says it’s delaying the pool’s opening until July 10.
The pool is undergoing construction as part of the Riverside Park Recreation Expansion Project.
The delay means it’s opening one week later than expected. As such, the start time of several YMCA programs, including swim lessons, are being pushed back. Arrangement are being made to refund families
Mayor Nancy Peckford says it’s due to “unforeseen construction-related delays.” She added municipal staff is working hard to make the July 10 opening and thanked pool users for “their patience and understanding.”
