The Municipality of North Grenville says the Municipality is still operational to provide essential services and assistance to residents by appointment only.
Yesterday, North Grenville announced the Municipal Council meeting will proceed today without presentations or delegations and residents are encouraged to watch the meeting online.
Residents looking to ask a question about the meeting’s agenda can submit it to [email protected]. The questions will be addressed in real time during the question period.

The property tax deadline is still March 31st, but leniency will be given for penalties and interest on late payments until the end of April. Planning applications for zoning amendments, minor variances, severances, official plan amendments and site plan approval are available on the Municipality’s website.
Planning applications can be filed at [email protected] or hard copies can be dropped off at the Municipal Office at 285 County Road 44 in Kemptville. Planning staff are available by appointment only by contacting [email protected].
Building Permit application forms are available online on the Municipality’s website. Building Permit applications can be filed at [email protected] or hard copies can be dropped off at the Municipal Office. Building Division staff is available by appointment only by contacting [email protected].
Payment for Building and Planning application fees can be made by cheque dropped
directly into the mail box outside the Municipal Office building or they can be submitted by regular mail.
Requests for building permit inspections will continue to be received by email at [email protected] or by calling 613-258-9569 extension 130. During on-site inspections, inspections will social distance one meter from all other persons. The site copy of the building permit and the redlined site drawings will be delivered to the site by the inspector during the first inspection or the applicant can print copies out for themselves.
