North Grenville has approved funding for signage pointing to Old Town Kemptville.
At last night’s council meeting it was announced that $60,000 has been approved for use from the Capital Projects Budget. The 2017 Marketing Plan suggested that gateway signage, as well as the downtown and way-finding signage, be worked on. The municipality responded with a multi-year project that will start this year.
The project has an overall budget of $255,000 and when it is completed the municipality will have installed two large destination signs on the 416 for County Road 43, one large destination sign on the 416 for County Road 44, a gateway entrance at the North end of Rideau Street South, three location signs with service club plaques and replacing a number of banners.
