The 2018 Municipal Budget for North Grenville was given formal approval during council this week.
After weeks of careful planning and debate the municipality’s council voted in approval of the $26 million dollar budget. Some of the projects that will be funded include a new play structure, satellite fire station, road re-construction and continued improvements to the trail system.
According to the municipality around $13.5 million will be raised from Municipal taxes, which includes the 2% tax rate increase from the Long-Term Financial Plan. The complete budget can be found here.
