The municipality has awarded their Transportation Master Plan.
The plan, which is intended to identify transportation facility upgrades and modifications needed to meet the ever expanding needs of residences, business and development, will be carried out by WSP. The plan is going to be very detailed. WSP will be responsible for; consultation, consideration of a reasonable range of alternatives, consideration of the effects of the project on all aspects of the environment, clear documentation and provision of the decision making process and systematic evaluation of alternative infrastructure and technologies.
WSP is a Canadian based engineering consulting company that have worked on projects like Citi Field in New York, Collins Square in Melbourne and Canning Town Station in London.
