The 162nd Spencerville Fair is coming

The Spencerville Fair is just around the corner.

The 162nd annual installment of the fair starts Thursday September 7th and runs until Sunday September 10th. There will be a midway provided by Robertson Amusements, helicopter rides by Kouri’s Kopters, tractor pulls and a demolition derby. The demolition derby starts with a Kids Power Wheels display. Representatives with the fair say the grounds will be packed with activities including the President Choice Super Dogs, Saunders County Critters Zoo and Sanctuary, The Blacksmith, Rynestone Magic, Little Rays Reptiles and Rexy the T-Rex – North America’s largest strolling T-Rex. Fair officials say they are also planning an artisan marketplace and exhibit building with food, animals and shows.

There will also be live musical performances throughout the weekend, some included in the price of admission to the fair and some extra. The paid line-up has Silver Creek opening for 21 Gun Salute on Friday, while Brea Lawrenson and Jordan McIntosh will take the stage Saturday before headliner Adam Hamelin. Included in the price of admission fairgoers will be able to see Triple Trouble and Blackwell on Saturday afternoon and Rhythmfoot, Moore and Moore and T.G. Sheppard on Sunday.
