The St. Mike’s Mustangs baseball team travels to Brockville to play TISS for the LGSSAA Championship at 11AM today at Fulford Park. The Mustangs earned a place in the championship with an 18-10 semi-final playoff victory over South Grenville on Tuesday. Highlights included back to back 300-foot home runs to right field by Matt MacNamee and Matt Wiggins and a pair of spectacular game saving catches by Adam Collins in left field. Mitchell Barnes and Tyler Manderson handled the pitching duties. Should the team win today, the boys advance to EOSSAA in Kingston next week.
