They say all good things must eventually come to an end. Yesterday, the St. Mike’s Senior Boys basketball team hosted Rideau in a see-saw battle that unfortunately ended with the Mustangs falling to the Lions, 40 to 39. This marks the end of a lengthy LGSSAA winning streak for the senior boys team, who hadn’t lost a league game since February of 2013. Captain Roark Brookson performed admirably, scoring 20 points. Emerson Sears chipped in 8. The Mustangs travel to BCI on Thursday.
