The town of Kemptville has lost a true champion. Harry Pratt passed away on Sunday after a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Harry Pratt was a real estate broker in Kemptville for many years but he was also the town’s biggest cheerleader. He worked tirelessly to raise funding for the Kemptville District Hospital and he acted as MC at countless local events. He served on a number of different boards for community organizations and was a true ambassador of North Grenville.
On Saturday, friends and family turned the cafeteria of the hospital into a beautifully decorated wedding chapel so that Harry could watch his daughter get married. He passed away on Sunday just before 5:30pm. He was 68.
